Split trips and shared costs, fairly.
FairShare replaces the shared spreadsheet. Record who paid for what, split it the way it
actually happened, and settle up in the fewest possible payments.
What it does
- Splits that match reality. Evenly, by percentage, by shares, by exact
amounts, or all of it on one person — and leave anyone out of an expense they had no part in.
- Balances that always add up. Every amount is tracked to the centavo, so a
bill that doesn't divide evenly never loses or invents money.
- Settling up in the fewest payments. FairShare works out who should pay whom,
collapsing a tangle of debts into as few transfers as possible.
- Receipts. Snap a photo and attach it to the expense.
- Works offline. Add expenses with no signal; they sync when you reconnect.
Joining a trip
Whoever sets up the trip shares a six-character code. Entering it shows you the trip and the
people already on it, so you can claim your own name rather than appearing twice.
FairShare never moves money. It records what was spent and what is owed.
Settling up happens between people, however they normally pay each other — cash, GCash,
Maya, bank transfer. FairShare is not a payment service and takes no part in the transaction.
